:D That's funny Salty, very good, kept me laughing for nearly 5 minutes (and I haven't even got the munchies :D)

I'm doing my rocker cover at the moment but I've gone for the black paint with brush on effect <_<

try silver radiator spray, from Half rods, I used it on the inlet manifold for a really good finish, and on the rocker cover it looks acceptable too.( Until i see a bargain chrome jobby )

The National Strret Rod Association hold two swap meets per year, one at Arena near Lakeside Essex in March, and one up North later in the year (dont know where). Ther are always bargains to be had, mainly V8 stuff but loads of interest to us too.

I found a chrome rocker cover £12, DGAS carb £20 DGAV & manifold £25,

and twin 40 webers on a manifold for £100.

Well worth a visit if you can wait.

Cheers, Bob.

Bill you’ve done it now admitting to not fitting the cambelt cover. You will have Jim on to you about how a stone could jump up and break the belt (he did to me when I made the same mistake). :p :p :p
