Hi all what have people used for side repeaters and where are they fitted

I used the little bubble Ones that go on your cycle wings from kitspares. Bonded them on with fibre glass. Easier and less messy options probably better.

 

Someone may come on with a link and more info.

Hi,

 

I used the LED ones approx 15mm dia. Fitted to top edge of rear wings. Seemed much easier to wire in this position.

Fitted mine to the front wings using small nut and bolt, fitted the long slim type that came with the kit

Mine failed the Iva yesterday on the side repeaters being not radius'd enough

Was that the only fail -- if so very picky of the examiner & tough for you -- do you get done for a retest fee?

Hi Mate,

As stated above for me it was on the rear arches. But each to their own...

Going to relocate mine to the front arches but the same place as yours on the rear

Hi Marcus,

 

No, you are only allowed 1 set of side repeaters, which have to be viewable from certain angles front/ rear (not sure of exact requirements without quoting the IVA manual)

On top of this I have the front indicators mounted on the sides of the front nose cone (pointing forward) and 2 indicators on the rear
