Hi All,

I'm off for a blat around the lakes this sunday after collecting the new tax on sat. Not been out for a while, and I know the weather is set to be a bit chillier than of late, but as its 1st April, should any hood need the winter cobwebs clearing, you are more than welcome to join along.

Meeting at the Phantom Winger at 9.30. Full tanks and flasks required as I know roughly where we are going, but have a tendancy of only finding refreshments etc about 5 minutes from home.

Please let me know if you are defo turning up and I will wait for you.

For anyone who can't get fuel, give me a bell as for the past couple of months, I've being digging a pit in the garage, not for working underneath the car, but for storing fuel. Completed last week and had my first delivery on friday last week - 425 gallons of unleaded. No diesel for the work vehicle, but plenty for the hood.

Steve, at the moment its the usual crew turning up - me. I can always delay the set off time if you are up for a blast somewhere - doesn't have to be the lakes.

I picked up the On-call pager Friday for a week, otherwise I would be out for a ride.  Hope you have a good run.

You have dug a 425 gallon storage tank in your garden! My God man if that goes up you will take half of the North West out. There must be regulations?

Just a laugh following on from the thread Dan started about not being able to get to work due to panic petrol buying, and some plonker filling all spare tanks and containers (including water butts) with petrol in the advent of mass histeria.
