Beautiful day down here in the South, so we took Florin out for a circum-navigation of Salisbury at a 12/15 mile radius. Travelled mainly on unclassified roads & single tracks over our plains, dales & river valleys. Blew the cob-webs out for a few hours & only turned for home as the sun set & the temperature dropped.

 

It's amazing how many minor roads close to home have been forgotten or never travelled over, wonderful views in the brassy autumnal sun.

yeah was a nice day over here too. had to change a fuel pipe as got a leak on the fuel filter so nipped to motorworld this morning (only place around here that was open) and got the new pipe installed. Then took her for a couple of miles around here for a test run as need it for the morning commute.

This is the sat-nav age, everybody uses the same (main) roads. As you say, the little roads can be a joy to use.
