Finally Friends

finished making a couple a final adjustments and decided on a test drive.

 

Finally a year later and the kit and I bonded tonight. It's not fast, it's fun... Something just clicked...

 

The Weather stayed fine. No breakdowns, no bitchin. Just me the kit and the road.

 

Now I finally get it, it's the people waving, the smell of petrol, oil and the peace of mind as u travel the country lanes looking for the next excuse to take it out.

 

Never really appreciated the fun of driving as the sun sets, wow what a shopping trip.

 

Damn... Got to to home and give the keys back to the wife. Oh well back home safe and sound, better still I have a new friend.... The kit

 

Aaaaaah.......

Brilliant. You have just summed up the relationship betwixt man and machine (poetic licence) for most kit car owners.

Enjoy the fruits (more licence) of your labour but remember just like any good relationship, never stop working at it. What's better for the other half usually turns out to be better for you.
