Free At Last

Well, after 31 years in the "Hotel" industry, 24 as a "Hotel" manager, I have today walked away a free man and with the exeption of a few thrown chamber pots, some lumpy and some just wet :bad: ,a couple of boken ribs and a few suicides along the way it really hasn't been too bad.

Lets hope that retirement is as rewarding

A few of the steam engine guys have recently retired and they are busier than ever! They joke saying that they wonder how they ever managed to fit work in!

About time you joined THE CLUB. You will have a great time retired that's if you are "retiring". There will still be weddings to do I guess and the occasional prom night. You can try to walk the legs off Oscar but I think you are on a looser there. I'll bet Carole has a small list of "things" we (you) should now have time for or get around to. Sometime has just arrived!

When I read the description of your 31 years in the hotel industry I thought it sounded a bit colourful.....especially the lumpy bedpans but it wasn't until I re-read this thread and saw red7's comment about being "a long time inside" did it click exactly what "hotel" industry you've been in!!!
