DSCF7549.JPG  All was well this evening as it got dark.

Bring your cycle cape as well, we could try to launch a yellow UFO.

We'll keep our fingers crossed & an umbella or two handy.

Thanks to Bob & Mo for organising yet another great week end BBQ.

The model plane building was good fun with some great (and some not so great) flights and crashes,

Many thanks for this Bob T. Just think, all that supergluing and only 1 person managed to glue himself to a glider - wonder who that was eh Bob T?

Everyone had fun, socialised and participated - that is what it's all about

A good week end, did it rain - I didn't notice!

A great weekend.....so good I didnt even notice the torrential downpour last night, despite sleeping in a tent.

And Al......if there are no pictures....it didnt happen.....but I do have one very painful skinless finger.

Many thanks Bob & Mo for throwing open your home to a bunch of childish so-called "Adults".

It always takes longer to put it right than do it right.

Just a final big thank-you to all who made the week-end work,  Bob T for the endless effort to make a success of our gliders & the tasty pies/cream; Al for getting kippered while cooking Friday evening & Sunday morning plus all the drinks; Martin & Dee for the steaks & wine; Jackie for the dips & Dave for the R/C plane.Stephen for the new banner & drinks.  Mo was pleased all the dirty cups/dishes disappeared with-out a word.

I've probably missed out a load, the week-end was quite busy;( I did get out in Florin once with a guest -- in between the showers) so thanks to one & all for your contributions & most of all attending.

Post-script -------------------------

Two gliders survived the BBQ & have been enjoyed on several dozen flights without the help of grandchildren.

Sadly Al's stirring sticks & copious amounts of super glue could not repair SteveA's 'craft any more tonight & its final flight ended in several pieces.

The last remaining plane is intact but sat right in the top of a thorn tree where it shall remain unless the wind brings it back to earth.

Thanks again Bob, it kept us & quite a few other "kids" employed & playing for a long time.
