Hi guys and gals,

 

Just wanted to introduce myself, I'm looking to build a RH Zero over the next few minths once i have sold my current car to fund this project, I havnt got a time limit but hope not to take years doing it, lol

 

Please expect some stupid questions, so i appologise in advance,

I live in cheshunt, Herts, would be good to see a few before i buy even though have made my mind up on which one, I've built many race cars before so not scared of the build and really dont see any hurdles that will stop me other than the SVA as the car will be mainly for track, ( dont want to put much weight into it)

 

At the moment i only have a couple of questions which are,

 

1 does a vehicle need a windscreen for the SVA

 

2 Does it need lights for the SVA

 

I'm aware that it will need brake lights and reflectors but wasnt sure about side lights and headlamps.

easiest not to have a windscreen at SVA as you then don't need demisters / wipers / screen wash.

 

suspect you do need lights

dont forget that the sva is due to change next year.a few or of the changes are high back seats or head rests a horn, reverse gear of form of reverse u will need lights. Good luck with the build and have fun

there was a version of the ariel atom that didnt have lights so you just had to stop before it got dark. Dont know whether the rules have changed now though. hth
