Now you are going mad!

I know who to call if my DIY job goes horribly wrong haha

I was considering DIY'ing it but a) I have no experience with proper automotive painting and B) I don't have (or access to) the equipment like spray gun, proper paint and paint booth etc. Will be interested to here how you get on!

I've done a lot of painting before now, must often just with rattle cans and always got good results, its all about patience and prep. unfortunately I lack patience! Still in progress of doing mine, but I think I'll get the result I wanted once its finished.

Yeah mine was just going to be a rattle can job. Flat panels with pre-drilled holes (when I come to rebuilding) should be fairly straight forward. Or I paint it on the car as I'm dismantling, then take off and put to one side....in fact thats the better option, means I won't worry about patience too much as I'll have an Mx6 to pull apart whilst it drys haha
