Indicators Fuse Keeps Blowing, Advice Please

Hi

 

Hope someone can point me where to start looking for a fault.

 

Today indicators failed, checked 10a fuse and its blown, replaced fuse but blew even with ignition off and no indiators engaged.

Also no hazard flasher either,

 

Seems to be a short but where, any ideas guys??

Sounds like a short on permanent live to flasher relay

Bit odd as pin 49 supplying 12v power from the column switches to pin 49 on the indicator relay has two sources of power. An ignition live for indicators and a constant live for hazards. So mostly one or other system should work. I would bridge the fuse with a 20w bulb. With everything off, if it lights there is a route to earth. Then try the hazards, on/off and indicators left and right noting what the bulb does. Then try pulling pins off at the relay and column. Your are looking for change.
