Zetec Into 2bplus

can anyone help please does anyone know what parts are used to fit a 2ltr zetec to my

2bplus i am using the type 9 g, box but would like to know if anyone has fitted one

and what parts they used to do this eg; clutch/starter/engine mounts/alternater

any info would be gratefully recieved

i used a escort rs turbo pressure plate and sierra clutch plate, mondeo alternator and bracket which in the mondeo sits behind the engine and i used the pinto mounts back to front and made some adaptor plates to fit them too, i got the idea for the mounts of one of the guys from here who i asuume will be happy to send pic's

 

not sure about the starter just yet haven't got that far but i know you may have problems with the thermostat and the frame work but there are ways around it. but i am hoping the 2bplus isn't hugely different to my 2b, i have some pics if it helps

Hi

Go to Tiger for a flywheel then you can fit standard pinto clutch, got my starter from a granada use zetec alternator and get a water rail from raceline use existing engine mounts and amnufacture some plates to fit onto side of engine.What form of carburation do you intend to use either throttle body or carbs either way you will need some form of ignition system I went for the megasquirt with carbs so i can change to throttle bodies if and when I can afford it
