hi guys, hope this dosen't sound silly but i have been thinking would it be possible to anti lock brakes on a zero and has anyone done this

Can't tell you if it is possible, but I suspect it hasn't been done.  The Zero doesn't even use a servo so ABS is probably over the top.  I stand to be corrected by people more knowlegable on the subject than me.

Unnecessary and will just over complicate the wiring.
The biggest no no will be the extra weight! Have you felt the weight
Of an ABS pump?  ;)

Thanks for the response I thought that would be the general opinion, I wouldn't say I drive depending on abs I just like to know it's there as safety net when pushing the car, I will have to improve my driving skills lol

I've been driving 7.s for 7 yrs and never hit anything due to lack of abs. It's the opposite problem the brakes are so good that you are in danger of being hit from behind.......as happened to me

ABS systems are built for particular tin tops and take into account weight as was as many other factors so you can't just bolt on a system from the donor.

I have ABS fitted on all my cars.








































































The ECU is in my head and the actuator is in my leg!!!!!
IVA passed 30/03/11 on the road 16/04/11
