Probably oil burning off the valve stems
Check the stem seals are on the guides and run till clear

Difficult to get stem seal replacement wrong. Did you knock them down over the bit of the valve guide that sticks up above the cylinder head surface? They are a 'press' fit. Did you damage them in fitting? Rip the lip on one? Unlikely. How long have you run it for since you replaced them. May take a couple of miles to burn off the oil that is bound to leak down during the fitting process.
The other possibility is that they weren't the problem and it's bore/ring wear. Does it smoke on overun and give a big cloud as you accelerate away? Seals. Or does it smoke all the time, the harder you drive it the more it smokes. Rings.
Is it grey/blue oil smoke or black overich mixture smoke like a diesel. Or white 'smoke' or steam like the head gaskets gone?

Thinners to clean the guides and superglue to stick. Use a suitable tube drift like a long 10mm socket to tap them down onto the guides.

I would gently remove them and get them in the sink with some fairy liquid.
Perhaps look at upgraded but single springs from Burton, Kent or Piper and loose the double valve springs.

Both Piper and Kent do a range of valve springs. Pipers are single and used for their range of cams up to their 320 for the pinto. Kent the same. Burtons have hold of the wrong end of the stick or can't be bothered thinking about the problem. However if the problem is now fixed don't worry.

Narrow stem seals came with my RL31 cam kit,
I believe they are similar to CVH stem seals
