While popping the engine out to sort the oil leaks I thought we would bring in the new assistant for a learning expierence.

Grim, trying to remove the alternator asked the new assistant for a 3/4" rachet with a 13mm socket on it.

Off trots the new assistant and returns with.....


... A Teddy....

It depends, if it had have been one of Marcus' teddies, it would probably be quite a helpful assistant!

Come-on the dog knew you were joking--- smallest socket for 3/4 drive is 19mm.!!

Dog was too smart to be caught out. 3/4 ratchet with a 13mm socket? He knew it was a test.

The best par to me is the fact the assistant didn't answer back.

We have to presume you told him of your error?

One 2B/04 built (Kitten). Changed gearbox, changed engine to lowered EFi.
Firewall boxed in, (car has alligator bonnet).
LSD ready to be fitted. Zetec engine arrived. Sump, Starter, Alternator and aux belt, flywheel & clutch, Throttle Bodies, ECU all sorted,  

One 2B/04 started (Tintaglia) with 3.9L Rover V8 engine.

One GTM  recovered after 4x4 rolled over it's roof.

I take it then that engine management systems are a little too advanced at this stage???

Looks like your getting a "woof"  time of it Rob since you started this thread.
Hopefully redoing the engine seals etc should "lead" to a leak free lump and
this doesn't become a "bone" of contention to you.
