Thanks for the help an photos.
Looks like I need to cut down the mounting tube, and re-drill the hole in the pedal box cover, as none of it lines up. At least I know its the car that's wrong, not me!

I believe the Sierra wheels are RT35, and you need RT15. A 20mm spacer will get it to line up according to Richard at GBS (20mm per wheel)

Firstly, apologies, I posted in the wrong place.
Secondly, thanks for the help. Spent half an hour last night failing to get the drums off, it took a little over a minute this afteroon.
If in doubt, hit it with a hammer!
Cheers.

So basically;
I don't need to worry about the cat.
Any Pinto will run unleaded (what adjustments are necessary?)
Best off getting an injection engine as they have hardened valve seats and the 205 block.
How do you tell if its a Pinto or DOHC? (i.e what question do I need to ask the seller to avoid a wasted visit?)
Can someone send me a copy of the instructions to cut down the plenum - will be joining RHOCaR in January, but I take it they don't do back issues.
One last question - which would be better, keeping the injection system, or using bike carbs?

GBS do supply all the kit you need, but it's quite expensive, and they can't always suppy the V5. Also, it's been a while since I messed about with cars (about 18 years) so I thought stripping a Sierra would be a useful experience.
Yes, I did know about the V5 - (been "Lurking" for a while now.)
I was going to keep the wiring loom anyway, but following your comments, I'll keep as much as I can find room for.
Will probably still bin the following -
seats - (take it they won't fit)
dash and trim (not clocks)
all bodywork
fuel tank (don't think it fits)
glass
chassis
Thanks.
