In the process of filling the brakes with fluid.
All pipework connected up, resevoir full of fluid 1 bleed screw undone with one way kit connected, but when I press the pedal, no fluid comes out.
Undone pipework at various points, all the way back to the master cylinder, but no fluid anywhere.
Took the master cylinder off and dismantled it, no blockages (could blow air through each output into the cylinder)
What am I missing?

Wheel Spacers
21 August 2009 - 11:00 AM
I intend to use the donor wheels and tyres, and will therefore need spacers. I know that the donor wheels are ET35 offset and that ET15 are the best fit, so I would need 20mm spacers. The issue I have is that I will need to change the studs to accomodate the spacers. This is not an easy job, and when I (can afford to) get a new set of alloys I will go for ET15's meaning I will have to change the studs back again. It would also mean I could not quickly swap the wheels over.
I have seen spacers that simply screw extenders onto the studs, thus making it easier to swap back and forth, but these are 32mm wide (so the externder fits over the stud entirely.

My question is, would 32mm spacers be too wide, would the wheels then extend out past the wings?
I have 2 sets of Ford alloys, 185/65/R14 and 195/55/R15.
Thanks
Bill

Zero Scuttle - Any Tips?

About to start putting the scuttle together. Any tips on how/what order to put it together? I'm a bit confused on the dash. How does it fix in and why are there 2 panels?
Thanks,

Deceleration Valve
10 August 2009 - 08:28 PM
Excuse my ignorance, but what does the deceleration valve do? I have the one that came of the sierra, will this do? does it need to be fitted in a certain way? I know it fits on the rear brake line, but location/orientation are a mystery.
Thanks

Accelerator Pedal Mounting, Zero

Can anyone post a photo of the mounting of the accelarator pedal, as there dosent seem enough room between the mounting point and the pedal box cover panel.
Thanks,
Bill
