I think the best way to go is for mods to give up on the " let it go " angle as this does not seem to work, if a mod deems a thread as a rule breaker then pull it and argue with the op by private message, if a mod is unsure, drag it into the mod section and then seek another mods advice.

I agree with Dan, I too have offered my spare time to help run the club, the more I see people whinging about club fees boils my blood... I pay my dues and even my wife pays her own membership, my little boys want their own cards which means a 9 and a 5 year old will also have paid their dues. Do I want an award for this?? Do I heck, I'm proud to have helped keep the club going.

Last year the club asked for people to step forward for commitee places.... Steve wanted the chairman and sec positions filling, only 2 people ( as far as Iam aware) have stepped forward for this, those 2 people have tried to help sort bits out and try to be involved in helping the club forward before the next agm, unfortunately, according to a couple of mods and a committee member, we are not worthy until the time we take the rolls.  All I will say is, if people don't want to see changes for the better, get off your arses and step up.

Reading this from scottie longborder and mitch is making me seriously reconcider if i,m going to stand for commitee. The rules of this forum are clear as day. when a rule is broken or suspicion of it being broken moderators are there to deal with it but when they do certain long term members / contributors start pouring petrol on the flames just to degenerate it into what it is now.

It always seems to stem from community users as well. just because you were once paid up and now for what ever reasons are not does not entitle you to the very few benefits that paid members have..

With out the money this club is gone

Without people giving up there spare time for free this club is gone,

Without people sharing there knowledge this club is gone

I gave you an opinion on how to achieve the best money for you car i also tried a bit of banter, you then attack the mods for posing a resonable question.

p.s i got laid off today so am now unemployed with 4 kids (real problems)

New diff now fitted and the car almost feels normal well for a kit in any case , its never felt this good so it would seem the diff has been a bit knackered from day 1.
Just need the snow to go now and give it a proper try...Found more loose bolts all over the car the guy who built obviously hadn't heard of thread lock.

A friend of mine heard noises one night and looking out the window saw 3 lads fetching bikes out of his garage they'd broke into.   It's must of been a cold and frosty night, as after he'd snuck out the front door and grabbed one of them the little pond scum chav kept slipping over and banging his head on patio as he tried to flee after his 2 mates who had long gone.
Police arrived and handcuffed the lad in the car whilst taking statements from my mate and his neighbour.
Apparently the lad wouldn't say who his mates where but a new evidence gathering tactic came to light!  After finishing taking my mates statement he mentioned the police car was unlocked and he'd be at least 5 mins taking the neighbours statement.....

2 more names soon became known....
Proper justice!!
