hi all, would just like to add our thanks for a fantastic weekend, was a bit concerned how we would be welcomed at the camp site (andrea was very worried) as it was our first time, but as soon as we arrived we were welcomed with open arms, simon b helped with our tent, and many more offered, as soon as we were unpacked dan e invited us over for for a couple of beers, then andrea started to prep the chilli and once again help came and soon got it all done, it was a good atmosphere on the evenings and everyone mucked in to make it a great camping weekend, looking forward to the next one, thanks again to everyone, cheers ivan & andrea

Big thanks to Phil for doing his usual sterling job with the arrangements for this years' event.

Another round of thanks to everyone who helped with my clutch issue, got home safe and sound, no problems, just have to fine tune it now.

Hope everyone didn't mind the smoke signals on Saturday from the burger fest.  Hope Nick's and my cooking didn't leave anyone having to leg it to the little room.

Finally, thanks to everyone for making it a very enjoyable week-end, the banter, food, (thanks Ivan & Andrea - we enjoyed the chilli), the beer was very drinkable (cheers Dan). It was good to catch up with friends old and new.

See you all at Newark,

Bah, 6" is easier to count than 150mm :)

I don't know my 32 thou of an inch though and find metric easier then !

And, yes, I remember the brass thr'penny bit when I was still at junior / infants :) I'm extremely grateful that the old LSD system went before I really knew it !

Simon.

I do pounds shillings and pence as well as decimal
I do yards feet and inches as well as CM & MM
I do silver based photography as well as digital

Quite lucky really
Can't do rods chains and poles or bushels, grains and pecks
But can fathom fathoms although I dived in meters

Just look at the price of LPG at the pumps now.
A few years ago they were almost giving it away, it's now 70-80p per litre!
If we burnt straw, wood, migrants etc in our steam cars, there would soon be a tax on those as well.

Born free & taxed to death

Yep although I would recommend using a trolley jack to lower it carefully rather than  just drop it!
And to quote the Haynes manual, fitting is just the reverse of removal!

Had a similar problem last summer. The cap on the rad had a dodgy seal, that was letting coolant / air past and bypassing the GBS water rail.

Check the seal on the rad cap, I had to fit another seal to allow the overflow from the water rail to come into effect with the expamsion tank.

As Grim says, don't cap the overflow from the rad

Sounds like another optomist joining our ranks; just like me & Mo; out to xmas dinner last Sunday, forecast said possible heavy showers "It wont rain while we have dinner"  Oh yes it will, both got soaked to the undies before we had the roof on.

Waterproof jackets & ordinary jeans just mean bottom half gets twice as wet.
