Have just got back to the project ( wide body GBS zero ) and I am now wondering whether I have put the cut out switch in the right place . I fixed it some time ago right next to the battery on the fire wall shelf and now wonder whether it should be in the car itself somewhere. Advice needed please

Hello everyone, I am closing 79 and just purchased a 3A, sheeted up for 4 years but a professional build and registered correctly, the builder had it as a speedster, I have new hood and windscreen with it to fit but no wiper motor etc!!! Which is the best and simplest ti fut for an okd man full of arthritis!! lol, thanks and stay safe

Could someone please provide some photos of how the roof bars are set up for a 2B? I've searched for photos/explanations but can't find anything and can't work out how the 2nd smaller bar is fitted and relates to the bigger front leaning bar. I did find a powerpoint file with pictures posted by Richyb66 a while back with dimensions/design of the actual bars but struggling for details on the set up. Any help appreciated!

Hi managed to source a second hand standard exhaust anyone have picture on how it mounts to body / chassis drivers side , it has a bracket welded to it guess from when it was new on exhaust?

Hi guys…. Hellllllllp! I’ve been having running issues, and in a round about way have com to think it’s fuel starvation. I disconnected the fuel input to the fuel rail and turned o the ignition, I got a god spray for a couple of seconds, then it turned into a dribble. took of the main fuel filter and pored out a certain amount of almost black fuel. so, I decided to take the sender out of the tank and have a look…. Rust spots everywhere. so… now i need the tank out, but am struggling to find a way to do it without taking off both rear wings and the rear panel. so, my question are…. 1) any tips on getting the tank out through the boot? …

Busy making some wind deflectors and I'm wondering where the door hinges are from. I ordered the ones off CBS but they're way to small. The ones on the car are 50mm X 19mm

hi just got a roof and doors second hand, what do you guys use under the roof from the top of window screen to roll bar do you use fabric strap or a metal one that takes away the strain on top of window screen ?

Hi guys I’ve just put my S3 through a MOT and had an advisory on the rear suspension bush. I’ve got new bushes but haven’t got a clue how to access them! Please see the photos. where are my finger is pointing is roughly where the bolt I need to get at is located. The other bolt in the picture is where the MOT I said I would need to undo to drop down the rear and access it, however that appears to just be a bush and just turns. any assistance would be gratefully appreciated

Hi, Thanks for the two committee members answers, if I cant get the "Pukka" foam backed stuff, I may have to compromise with a grey leatherette. But I want it to look near the original as possible.. I know they are all different, but there does seem to be a theme with this Grey foam backed covering. The question is, do any of you out there who have built a RH have any material left over, I just need enough to cover my dash board, if so, please name your price.... Thought the Lucas sealed beam headlights were a little on the dull side so have swapped them to these ones, got some Osram night breakers in so should make a big difference along with the drl lights around the bottom.

I’ve had a look through the posts but I’m still baffled. I’ve just got a rolling S7 chassis (Mk2 Sierra I think) and acquired 2 sets of rear arches for it. One set is almost like bicycle wings with the rear lights on and stainless stone guard and the other covers the whole rear quarter of the car, leaving only the very rear panel in stainless. It it just personal choice what ones to put on or was one style in particular included with the kit? Thanks!

Please can someone with a 2b that has the double wishbone suspension measure the front flexible brakes lines and let me know the length? Are they Sierra original lines? Where on the body do these enter the engine bay? I need to drill a hole and it would be great to get it right first time. Any pictures would be appreciated.

I've got an S7 , which has a monocoque chassis. Has anyone else fitted seat belts to this arrangement for IVA? how does it work? The IVA manual says that fit to flat panels is a source of concern, however I can't see what else I can fit to (the 3rd mounting point I believe to acceptable for the roll bar supports to the rear chassis - high;ighted in blue). I was considering attaching both waste belt anchors to the panel behind the seat where the tunnel and wheel arch box section is bolted too the panel (red in pic), BUT I'm hesitant. I would at the very least need to weld some spreaders to this panel (I believe) but I don't want to start drilling /welding until I know…

Can someone please measure the distance between the rear bulkhead and the top of the roll at behind the seats.I have a shower cover that does not fit we’ll wondered if it was because I have cobra anti roll bars.Stewart
