Race Distributor & Ignition Kit

hi all,

 

Have recently bought a 2b thats in need of some minor work to get it back on the road, and 2 of the things i need are new distributor and coil. I have seen these items on ebay, what do you think? Are they any better than standard and would they make any difference power wise. At the moment the engine is a 2.1 pinto with weber carb and lightened flywheel. the link is for a x flow system, but pinto ones are available. any comments would be welcome.

It's cheap compared to a lumenition kit or Aldon equivalent..... Personally I would go with 50 quid from the guy recommended. Only think I'm not sure about is the variable dwell... maybe that's an upgrade, not sure...
