Just dont start the car up because the rhe supplied stainless goes a nice shiny colour for a while then tarnises after a couple months. Some people say there too loud but i love it!

Well, errrr.... it's been used in the rain, left in a damp garage (for years) whilst the build was in progress, etc, etc, and it looks like this - reasonably pretty.

 

The manifold's a different matter (of course) as it has cracked at the weld.

the damage occurs once the chromes been battered by the stones the front wheel kicks up,

 

if you can prevent that then it will look good for longer
