Flapping Harness Straps

What do people use to stop the harness tails flapping about in the wind and hitting you in the face?

dont have any real probs with mine. but in the aerobatic aircraft ,we fit a small elastic strap round the straps to tuck the ends in.

you only need a bit and just sew the ends together.

I used to tuck the ends under the straps once done up. Now I have a polycarb screen in the roll bar and polycarb sidescreens the turbulance in the cockpit is gone and they don;t flap about.

I bought some Sabelt harness pads to match my black/yellow belts for a fiver at one of the shows. The tail ends simply tuck into the pads - looks neat and smart.

Tighten them up then tuck the ends behind, then get slapped in the face each time they come out. BTW not a problem when the side screens are fitted.

i wear sunglasses and ignore the slaps to the chops, at least i know i wont go blind..

Wearing a thicker jacket, that way there shudn't be enough strap to hit you. If its summer, then just tuck them behind the strap

I have been down the local girlie accessory shop much to my embarrassment and picked up some small hairbands which seem to do the job, but need further testing. I did get some strange looks having short hair and casting my tape measure across said items!!!! ha ha
