Hi Dan - lovely to have met you, always nice to see new faces joining the 'run outs'. We have made a note to carry molegrips :spiteful: !!!!

Okay okay, the one who had a slight 'crash' was us!! Some ***** decided to pull out of a junction as we were turning into it!! Damaged n/s wheel rather that one big write off o/s full side!!! Job well done on hubbies part :clapping: (if I do say so myself), just a shame the weather turned on us ......

yes Dan, good to meet you and Heather and glad you enjoyed it.

pity about the ding but at least no one was hurt

some of the roads were quite interesting, not up or is that down to Big Jims standard, but getting that way - not bad for a first attempt at sat-nav touring.

shame the rain set in cos the second half promised to be even more scenic, the conditions on the way home made any thought of a bit of acceleration a big no no with the back end wanting to swap with the front all the time!

horseshoe pass on sunday is next

one of the highlights of the run was sitting on the village green in Tissington drinking coffee and eating cake while we watched a group of aging bikers mount their harleys and ride off into the sun to the strains of 'born to be wild' pumping from speakers on one of the bikes
