PASSED THE RE-TEST ON MY 2B YESTERDAY (FAILED FIRST TIME ON A FEW BITS AND PIECES ) .DVLA AT BEVERLEY HAD PREVIOUSLY ORGANISED FOR THE POLICE TO COME AND ISSUE ME WITH A CHASSIS NUMBER AND AFTER THE SVA TOOK THE MAC STRAIGHT ROUND TO THEM AND GOT REGISTERED AND TAXED.

I WAS SUPRISED THAT I DONT SEEM TO NEED AN MOT. IS THE CAR NOW EXEMPT FROM MOT FOR 3 YEARS ??.

 

GOING TO GET THE SCREEN RE- FITTED AND GET OUT NOW WHILE THE WEATHER IS HOLDING (JUST).

See what i mean about ALL DVLA offices doing it differently

Some allow you to drive there, some make you trailor it there, and then you get the nice policeman in Yorkshire to come to you!!!.

Will the DVLA-DVLC ever get all the different offices to work to the same guidelines??????.
