Steve I think I was going backwards in that pic.!! Look at barrys pic.

 

As I made a bigger splash going the right way, any way that was a small drop, went through a lot more than that on the way home from a run out between Christmas and new year with the Thames valley group and it was night.

 

I have been looking at the old pump to day and some thing is jamming inside as it will run a bit the locks solid so seams more mechanical than electrical.

 

Still a great weekend and would do same again.

I'm just glad it didn’t give up there Steve as I suspect it would have taken a bit stronger rope to get it up the first few hundred yards after the ford and would have been interesting dropping down into Arkengarthdale
