got a new RH silencer and it has a little bar on it with 2 holes. There are 2 corresponding holes on the chassis. I tried to fit using a little rubber exhaust mount (with bolt each end) but it doesnt space the silencer out enough.

Is there a std RH part? Or something I can get from the local motorfactors?

thanks all

don't fit the exhaust to the body sides the engine movement will cause the side pannel to crack, i used a piece of angle bent into a L shape fixed to the rear seat cross member under the floor ,then up the side to fix the bobins to

These are about as close as you'll get to what Nigel has drawn.... They were originally bolted through the side on 2 of those rubber mounts but sheared as the mounts weren't designed for weight in that plane.

FYI we tracked Drews one round Llandow with only a bottom mount, nothing on side panel at all & it held up fine.
