recently purchased a 1600 pinto believed to be a cortina, this has the smaller flywheel thus making a sierra starter motor not fit due to the flywheel being engaged on the starter all the time

I know I need the inertia type starter for this flywheel but is there a pre-engaged starter alternative???? If so of what???

Any help would be greatly appreciated
