692kg for my 2B wishbone 2.0L pinto full tank of fuel etc. for SVA.

Given I have fibreglass seats; no screen; no heater; no spare and pretty much no anything else I'd suggest this is as light as it goes for a standardish build!

Cheers, M.

Sorry to hijack - for anyone who has had to SVA a Sierra based S7 (stainless) - What design weights did you put down on the SVA form?

Many thanks

Graham reckons 610kg for his Lightweight with a full tank and no spare wheel.

Although ScotMac is aiming for more like 500kg by attaching light suspension

components etc to his chassis..

Robinj66 Kwik Arf put 650 rear 450 front on a 2b and that was fine

I have a design weight doc from Robin Hood stating 450, 450 for a series 3

Its not what it weighs, its what maximum weight it is designed to handle.

Also there are some calculations at SVA that use the axle weights for brake efficiency calculations and as such the car must be able to take the loads under various conditions.

Within reason any reasonable weight will be OK as long as you have some documentation saying that the cars design weight is X and Y

The adult European Robin of the british subspecies E. r. melophilus is 12.5 – 14.0 centimetres (5.0 – 5.5 in) long and weighs 16-22 g (9/16-13/16 oz),

ahh thanks, problem sorted lol
