id be a bit wary

because,

1st, price (he does not know what they usually go for so may not have owned it long or know any forums)

2nd Engine (if he knew what engine was in it im sure he would have stated what it was, i.e zetec)

3rd almost no description for a car that should have a page full.

would not touch with a barge pole

id be more than a bit wary if you see what he's been buying lately !!!!

Knuckle duster, tattoo kit, herb grinder and a jar of Vasaline? Well i'm not going to argue with him!

Doesn't even say what model it is - tho' I expect some of you can tell from the front suspension.

But isn't that a strange gap between the rear o/side wheel and the wheelarch?

£7K seems optimistic as a starting bid.

Wish my stainless was a shiny though!

7k as a starting bid ! wow

either he thinks this is a new westfield or a second hand catering van

if its a pillock in my very humble opinion its worth arround 3 to 4 k tops.

my 2b pillock made £3200 arround 6 months ago and was of a similar build quality

but the hood was fitted better

regards graham.

I suspect you could get a hood to fit better than that Graham. :p He's just taking the p*(&

it is a sliding pillar version from looking at the photos so may be he thinks as they are becoming rare it is a collectors item???

if he gets £7k for it i think i will stick mine up for sale as well?

it only needs on person to like it and pay the price, i know of a painted 2b sliding pillar that went for £7k, a few years ago, was VERY Shiney though,

sold again recently was advertised at 4,5k.

Unfortunatly RHs dont fetch high prices, most of us are lucky and would see a small profit on what we paid for kits and getting them SVA, unless its a SSpec, which due to the reputations of Hoods, will very rarely make anything but a large loss,

good luck to him,

Mitch
