How To Flush Radweld

hi all,

 

I've just picked up a new car ( new to me.. ) and the previous owner has used Radweld to temp fix a seeping core plug. The leak it practically none existant, and I intend to repair it properly soon when I do the timing belts n such.. in the mean time would like the get rid of all the radweld crap thats probably built up every where in the engine...

 

 

Is there any wonder chemical that will dissolve all the crap in the cooling system like radweld.. something like a lime scale eater.. God knows what things its probably blocked up by now..

 

a powerful detergent? a Gunk +water flush?

 

any ideas..

try just using engine flush

I seem to remember a product called radflush. Don't know if it removes radweld but it gets rid of all the other debris in the cooling system.

might try a cocktail of radflush, vinegar and lime scale remover hehe..

 

rinsed out with bicarbonate after a good soak...
