Suspension Ball Joint Collar

Knock-on

Your mission should you choose to accept it :D

OK, I don't know what they are called or really what they are supposed to look like.

I have bought a double wishbone conversion kit off ebay. I don't know if it's a RHE one or not but there is a suggestion it isn't.

Apparently, there is supposed to be a collar / sleeve on the top ball joint?

Anyone got a picture of what they are or more importantly got a couple or know where to get them?

Hi mate. Don't think it's them.

Pretty sure it's at the top where the cycle wing bracket goes on. The one I saw was about 90mm cylender with a plate with a hole in the middle for the ball joint thread to go through.

Thanks Nigel. Knew someone would decipher my rambleings :D

Anyone got a couple or know where to purchase them?

Have also just found out that I need 2 new stub axles for the conversion as the bottom mount on the ones I have has been removed to facilitate the sliding pillars.

Anyone got a pair?

This is turning into a bigger job than I anticipated. Oh well, it was never going to be easy

You are a genius!!

May try and get a couple of stubs a bit cheaper. £90 is a huge amount! Probably get a pair for a tenner down crawley breakers.

Are mondeo ones the same as Sierra anyone?

BTW, if anyone wants a pair of sliding pillar ones, let me know.

At Stoneleigh Spire were selling brand new hubs complete for £75 which sounds quite reasonable if you price new bearings etc for s/h ones.
