Hello,

I need some help in jetting my DGV 32/36. Here in Germany there aren´t many guys which can fit rejet a DGV and so i need to drive a long distance to find one.

Maybe someone here has nearly same setup and tell me some sizes.....

Let´s start:

Pinto 2.0 EFI Head with little porting work on the sharp edges.

-> Pics: http://picasaweb.google.de/spaceace.gordon...055239320297202

http://picasaweb.google.de/spaceace.gordon...054754751114802

moded valves standard size

-> Pics: http://picasaweb.google.de/spaceace.gordon...055191730792978

and changed compression to about 10,2:1 (removed 1.3mm)

Jets available:

The red signed should be mounted.

The car seems to be slow in at the first step and when i drive on 5000rpm, then leave the gas and let it come down to 3000rpm the stay on the gas again, it is firing to the exhaust.

someone can give me a hint ??

Regards Gordon

Hi

not sure how useful this is for what you want to do but might be worth getting a colortune kit

http://www.carbtune.co.uk/colortune.html

you can at least see if the mixture is correct. I haven't used one myself so i can't say how good the results are but it might be worth a go if there is nobody around that can help.

Others may be able to advise if this is a sensible tool for the job.

Thanks, but i have solderd a JAW unit. So i have to learn how to use this and then getting started in some quiet moment.

I thought maybe someone is here who gives me some "should work" jets. So i can be a bit quicker. Need my car for everyday use and so the time is short in screwing on it till it have to take me to work.

If i have some news i´ll post it here.

With a colortune you only can see without driving. So the only thing can be tuned is the idle jets and such things. NOT the main jet and the secondary main jet.

using the wideband is the way forward you will be setting the carb for your engine.

get the engine running and go for a little drive have a friend reading the computer or read out start with the mains and work back wards.

make sure that the T shaped tubes are a nice snug fit in the carb body.

i borrow a inovate lc1 but would like my own I am interested in that jaw kit which i can't find on there web site was going to ask how much but see you are in Germany.

enjoy

The JAW Kit can be bought at several shops. I ordered DIRECTLY at canada. www.14point7.com The Bosch wideband i got from www.LM-1.de which was the cheapest way at this time. Seems to got a little more expensive now.

I hope Alan will change the firmware in the next weeks so the JAW is able to LOG.

http://www.14point7.com/Widebands/JAW_1_041/JAW_1_041.htm Here is the link and the kit is about 42 GBP + the bosch LSU
