Its A Rip Off

is it just me or is £25 too much for a show , bearing in mind we build the cars and then get them to the shows

we show them to appeal to new builders and existing builders ,

withoughht us there would be no show ?

we are the largest car club ,

why do we have to pay this when the larger shows are cheaper .

I'm not sure that it's the organisers setting that rate but rather the showground owners.

i believe the price is way above all the other venues and will not be attending at this price i also know of 2 others members who will also not be attending as we have disscussed this at length over the telephone. and believe it to be overpriced.

without the cars we build there would be no show at all .

why after all the effort of the build the sva and all the crap that goes with with it should we pay that .

show ground organisers need to know what is a real cost , not a profit .

I think someone should make it clear that the £25 mentioned is for camping and not single-day show entry. I gather the normal entry fee is more in the region of a tenner.

The £25.00 is the fee to camp. This includes entry to the show.

If you do not stay over then the entry fee to the show is£10.00 under 12s free.

I have contacted the orginiser of the show to express OUR displeasure at the cost.

if you turn up in kitcar entry is free for the driver anyway so in effect your still paying as this would be free if you didnt stay over.

usually if we go to a show we go for the weekend , that meens camping so at £25 to camp thats not a good deal ?

even if thats with entry to the show as car drivers get free entry , normaly ?

not wishing to put a downer on this show

but at this price its toooooo much , withought the core kit owners this show will fail !
