Windscreen

Hi,

I'd like to know the legalities, both for road use and IVA test, about not fitting the windscreen to the car. I'm building a 2B and Richard advises not to fit the windscreen for SVA but is this still an option for IVA? Is it OK to leave it off the car if the driver and passenger are to wear crash helmets??

yes no prob just leave it of , that way no hassle with demister wipers sharp edges etc and just fit afterwards at your leisure.

Passed my SVA on 3a with no windscreen. Bolted some motorbike mirrors through the end of the demister vent slots (no need to drill holes till screen is fitted).
