Mt75 To Zetec

Recommended Posts

I finally got my hands on a MT75 box and now need to mate it to the 1.6 zetec i have.

What clutch and release bearing do i need and any other fun bits?

Do i need a bearing for the end on the gearbox sheaf that sits in the engine, if that makes sense?

Right back to cleaning I do go,

Thanks

Hi Vincent

I have done the same (MT75 to a 2.0 LTR Zetec) yes you need a spigot bearing and a clutch release bearing got mine from west fields bit pricy £60 ish lots of people gave a part number to get it at a ford dealer but trust me they are the wrong thikness the west field one is the one you get from a ford dealer but with a bit of steel bonded to it . the only problem with the MT75 is the bell housing it sits toooooo close to the ground .

Happy mating.

Rob
