Got my hood out of the garage yesterday afternoon for a check over and good polish ready for last night's meet (not used her since Stafford show)

6 o'clock went indoors to change 1/2 hr later the heavens opened , stair rods coming down - 20mm of rain in 20 mins it kept this up till 9pm all our water butts were over flowing (3 x 1000ltr storage tanks + 3 x 250 ltr butts ) at least I was'nt half way to the meet.

Stair rods , steady Peter as the younguns would have never seen them let alone know what they are , sadly i do and i have fitted them in the dark distant past.

 

We had the same here oh did it rain, did it just, the Sat signal even went for a while.

The upside was it washed the thick mud off the Rav after my field venture yesturday due to a broken down wagon on a single track road and thus blocking it so around it i went.

Got to admit, it was a bit rough getting down there last night, but fifteen of us were there last night, but not a hood in sight for some reason.
