Snowing

I have just been out 20 miles in to Harrow left home at 8.30 got there fine and the roads are now covered in snow and we allmost did not get back home, in less than a hour it has covered the place.

we've got about 7" here, the table on the patio looks like a cake!

 

we went for a walk, and the wind made the ice crystals feel like needles, after 30mins, we couldnt see our tracks! easily 2" snow

only had a bit of a scattering here, but enough for all the folks coming out of Manchester with snow on their roofs and bonnets to do double takes at the nutter in the 2B, no roof on, just a woolly hat and club jacket driving next to them

2" in Tadley, Nth Hants. Enough for me to decide not to take the boy to school, which is only a half day end of term assembly, so he's not missing any lessons etc. Justified?????? The journey is 5 miles of country lanes.

Glad I took the spad in side last night as snow was a foot up back door dug the car out at 5am and made it to work.

 

Not sure if i will get home if we have any more!!

had 4" last night in Ipswich, schools closed , A12 and A14 a mess, good snowballing snow though,.
