Hi hope someone can help I’m new to the site and looking for some assistance, I have a series 3A with a 2.0 pinto, the carb on this is 30/34 DFTH 4A1 and I am looking for an air filter to but not having much luck.

The car has been of the road for probably about 7 years, I have spent the last 18months trying to get everything working again but im not that mechanically minded so has been trial and error which has cost me a few quid.

I am not quite sure how the site works but would like to hear from anyone in the Cambridge area that would be willing to share their build experience.

Cheers,

Brian.

I recently replaced the very poor sponge sandwhich pancake filter on my 2Ltr Pinto with another much superior one from Aldon Automotive (aldonautomotive.co.uk) This being a "Weber high performance air filter" by Webcon (webcon.co.uk). So far I have found it to be excellent in performance and looks a treat being chromed and value for money

Paul.

Have a chat with Peter Bowley at UK Carbs, great guy and knows everything there is to know about carbs, webers etc. He should be able to supply something at a good price.
