Good to see old traditions die hard - keep up the good work.

 

Like the Smurff and ABBA outfits, must admit, the wife wants to go out one year as Smurffs, but getting the body paint off when you're a little oiled is slightly messy!!

(Found that out when dressed as the Mama from the original Tom & Jerry cartoons for a Carribean night!)

Ahhh yes, flobadobadobadob.

 

I also have a pic somewhere of me as Ozzy Osbourne ( with bat ! ), and we're also doing A4ABBA again in March.

 

My next one is to be Marc Bolan in february, but the charity shops haven't yet had any suitable satin clobber.

Anyone got any ideas. ?

What about a trip to the markets or haberdashery for some cheapo satin like material and feather boa?

 

A cheap suit from the charity shops can be trimmed in hoodie style with the material - larger lapels, pocket tops etc with a nice retro style flare inserted into the trousers?

A finishing spray of glitter (or dye the suit with a loud contrasting colour fabric dye) and you're done.

 

Oh, and don't forget the makeup, platforms and wig

 

Doesn't have to be perfect as you're bound to spill a drink or two .
