Heater Switch Position

hi all

just been doing some final bits on car ready for sva,and remembered i needed to find out about heater switch position, i didnt think it would pass sva so i wired it ,so thats its comes on with ignition on speed 2 all the time and hid switch away behind dash,would this be ok for sva or does it have to be on show so it can be operated manually ?

My reading is that the screen demister must work.

If it works all the time OK

If not just like a normal car you must be able to easily switch it on.

Sounds logical Ian, but hey SVA is not always logical. I would phone the test station to make sure.
