i have an 1800 cvh sierra engine which i am going to put in my zero. i want to put bike carbs on but unsure if and how it is done. my inlet manifold for existing carb also houses the thermostat, temp sender and fan switch.

if someone has done it (surely must be loads) can they let me know how they did it.

what would be better is if someone had done it locally (northwest) so i could possibly see how it is done

fingers crossed someone can help

thanks

steve

Converted our 1800CVH to injection-- made ally adaptor plate for head to Escort inlet--made "water rail" to come off of rear of head (there's a welsh washer that's correct size for 'stat with M8 tappings) soldered tapping for fan 'stat in end of "water rail" & the temp sender goes into tapping at top front on exhaust side.

thanks. that looks quite complicated.

not so sure if i could do that.

maybe clearer if i could see it in person but since you are miles away, i may have to wait for a show and see if somebody has done one there

thanks again

Hi we have now made a few bike carb manifolds to fit the CVH engine, this is quite a simple conversion and makes a big difference to the performance and makes the engine fit better. please give us a call if you need any photos or info.

Hi Richard

Are you selling the manifolds on there own? I have got a set of Fireblade Carbs and I need a manifold for a Pinto. Is this something that you can do? If so would you mind letting me know a price.

Thanks

I got just the inlet manifold for blade carbs from gbs last year £110 give them a ring. The dyno guy who set mine up said it was giving good results.
