plastic p clips for brake lines are they ok? and copper fuel line running along the underside of the car is this ok?

Hi,

plastic p clips were fine for SVA bought mine from maplins. put one every 6 inches which i think is more than required but i had loads adn thought better safe than sorry.

 

Not sure about fuel lines under the car. I ran mine down the tunnel which has its own safety issues if the prop was to break and flail around. Its a difficult choice as these cars are pretty low so also have the possiblity of grounding and splitting a pipe.

hi ran my fuel lines under the car in 10mm copper pipe had no problem with sva cars been on road for 3 years now

I ran mine down the side of the top of transmission tunnel. On my s7, there is a one inch high cavity which gives a nice safe area for my wiring, brake line, and fuel line. Of course clipped every 6 inches, and before and after every 90 degree turn. OCD ? Possibly ! But if I missed one fixing, I'm still within the 12 inches recomended!
