Hi i have just replaced speedo drive and seal, cos it looked like it was coming from there but still leaking, it leaves about an inch puddle after a run just below the gearbox mount any ideas Cheers Tommy

Sounds like it could be the tail shaft oil seal that has been damaged. Easy to change once you get to it but that may mean removing the engine and box unless you can access it through the tunnel side

No its not propshaft seal ,definately coming from around the speedo drive

c clip nice and tight and no side movement on the outer cable ??.

the push in cap on the opposite side can be put back with some goo on it

 

had to do mine the other week.

have you overfilled the box
