I think it reads fine, when I neck it it reads full.

 

Comming out of Dover on way back from Le mans the gauge was reading "just" off empty heart in mouth time

 

Got to the fuel station at top of the hill and put 37 litres of fuel in the 40 litre tank £40+ that I think that's fairly acurate in my book.

 

Never run it that low before, and don't intend to again, usually fill up at 1/4 reading.
