the adjuster nut on a sierra rack

are they obtainable as a spare part ?

 

i have just fitted a quick rack in mine, and the threads have seen better days

Hi Dave, sorry I can,t help you with your question but I would really like to know how much of an improvement the quick rack makes when you test it out.

Depends what you have fitted presently.

A standard Sierra rack has 4 turns lock to lock.

Ive fitted a Sierra power steering rack without power assistance.

That has 2 turns lock. to lock. Its far better, but parking can be a bit heavy esp with Toyo 888s,but with Michelin Exaltos its pretty easy.

you can get them seperate, i got ones a while ago can't remember if it was from Ford or possibly might have been from Robin hood, but didn't cost too much
