Chrome Cam Cover

I saw a couple of chromed Pinto cam covers at Detling yesterday and they do look quite smart. As I have a spare cam cover (from a replacement head I got from a scrappy) I am considering having it done.

 

Has anyone here had a cam cover chromed? If so, how much did it cost? Anyone in the trade know where to get one done cheap? If it is not too expensive, is anyone else interested (so we can get a bulk discount)?

I thought most people bought a replacement cover ready chromed from somewhere like Europa.

 

Could be wrong though.

Mine came with a chrome cover and looks rather smart!

 

Check out yellow pages you should find somewhere in there that will do it, i have a local place and they're quite cheap.

 

Got loads of engine bits done on my old cossie engine bay for about £50.

I've seen these for sale on the trade stands at the Kit Shows.

Not sure of the current price though.
