2b Top Speeds ?

Not interested in bernoulli's theory but what are peoples actual top speeds on there hoods? i red lined 5th last night on a flat with my 3.62diff. aero screens goggles no ear plugs 10:30 at night rather invigorating shall we say, my ears were ringing for hrs

Im more curious as to 0-60 people are getting and with what engine. i think most 2b "on the Track of course not open road mr plod" is around 100 to 110 after that the aero dynamic barrier kicks in and makes for not nice handleing.

mine flat out "on the track" was fine with the handling very stable, 0 to 60 it seems to be about the same as my mates lotus exige s

Didnt time it, but my 0-60 tonight was slightly quicker than an BMW Z4, and I dont think he liked it.

Ive got a didgi dah that has the timer thingy on it.2B 2.0l pinto with twin weber 45's got 0-63 in 6.16sec "on the track obviously" just wondering how this compares no point trying to improve on this if this is about what is expected.

Would be interesting to log BHP, Torque, weight, diff, tyres, etc, this would give measurable results with meaning.

This would answer questions like..... Why do I haveore bhp but he is faster?

2b Plus with 2.0L Pinto - PiperCross Air Filter - 32/36 Weber DGAV - Std Dizzy & Cam - 4 Branch Manifold - Wunoff Exhaust - 3.92 Diff - 205x50x15 Toyo T1Rs - weighing in at 765KG.

Total Engine Mileage unknown, but seems well. Declared fit by Bogg Bros with 120BHP at the Flywheel (100BHP at the wheels).

Nudged 105mph at the Nurburgring and I would say (although I've never acurately measured it) 0-60MPH circa 7 seconds.

Standing quarter (Elvington Raceway) 15.99 Seconds.

Keeps up with most stuff and fast enough for me - for the time being.
