Zero Wiring Loom

what loom has people used for their cars, just got back from GBS and the new plug and play loom is £395. I wanted to run away. Never knew they were this expensive. Any cheaper suggestions greatly welcomed

They still do the standard loom as far as I am aware, the main benefit of "plug and Play" is just that!!!! Definately the one I will be having.

 

Otherwise use Sierra one modified, buy a load of wire and make one, or buy the basic one for about £120ish (from memory)

We are using a Premier wiring loom about the same price £120-00 ish only heard good things about them.

I think you'll find the plug and play refers to the gauges and clocks only, the rest of the loom is per premier loom,

 

I've used the sierra loom and just cut back what I dont need,

i have the premier loom and it was £120 well spent very good back up and he will make it to order just tell him want you have, plus any problems he is very good on the phone

I can recommend the premier wiring loom. Just finished wiring my zero and the instructions are pretty clear.

Nothing wrong with the sierra loom cut out the circuits you don't need, replace the fuse box if you want to (not necessary). Simple keep the sierra haynes manual colours are the same.

 

Better for the budget ultimately personal choice.

I used 7 core trailer cable and took ages studying haynes manual

didnt trust old sierra wires & to tight to buy new loom

Am going to try and make a wiring loom from scratch, cause i know absolutely nothing about erm. And since all this is a major learning exercise, I think its worth a go. so question's

 

Anybody used this westfield diagram to wire the entire car
