Hi Nick

I was still adding rubber bits on the morning of the test & was probably overkill

so it may be panic.

Have you taken any photos of the E mark label on your seatbelts (if its hidden behind the seats)

as I was asked for one in my test.

car looks good :good:

cheers Paul

Nick, have you got the top-hat spacer washers on you seat belts to allow the belt anchors to swivel? not clear in photos.

Hi Bob,

They're proper seatbelt bolts, i.e... akin to shoulder bolts.

hi nick.dont forget to take photos with you of the belt fixings and how the nuts are welded to chassis. :good:

regards,jess.

Got them Jess, i'm going to take my laptop to the IVA with me. They can look at anything

they require then.

Hi Dad,

seatbelts trimmed mate. Dash recessed in now, was a good call by Dave. It wasn't the edges that could of been a problem, just the

amount of protrusion.

Picture of the MKII version below and TBH i think it looks better recessed into the dash rather than sat on top. :drinks:

Nick,

Looks good I assume you don't like to see screw heads (same here), I like the mesh idea but what adhesive did you use to glue the cycle wings on?

Cheers

Mark

Hi Mark, Fastened them on with Sikaflex 221 mate. I warmed the tube to ensure it flowed around the mesh easily. Just make sure you abrade and

thoroughly degrease the cycle wings prior to fitting.

Thanks all for your observations, keep them coming please.... i'm cacking myself about the IVA!
