I have been readinyg about pricings for the SVA, the price has gone from £540 to £200. Can someone please tell me the correct price?

Hi Graham, Just sorted mine mate for the IVA. Cost was £450 for the test itself and a retest if required is £90.

Manufacturers, eg... GBS, only pay £200 & £45.

It's definitely £450 for the IVA test then is it chaps???

 

I assumed we were voluntary (as opposed to statutory), meaning we had to stump up the VAT too!

 

If not, that's actually good news (in a sickening, soul destroying kind of way).

Yes, thats an option.... BUT.... with them being classed as a manufacturer by VOSA, all vehicles will have

to meet the latest Euro emissions that they offer for test.

 

Not a problem with an EFi Zetec running a CAT, but nigh on impossible if your running bike carbs or a Pinto etc.

 

That was the only reason i chose to IVA my Zero myself rather than let GBS sort it.
